Well so far I only found that the armstubs from raspberry Pi/tools are indeed within the start.elf starting at 0x00278D10. But then I also see there is a bunch of ASCII text intermingled and nops so will likely have to search for an entry point within the bootcode.bin. I do know from my experience searching that all these common video formats are not free just to know what they are and I guess it's the reason why they lock it down in start.elf because its not only their IP being hit.
