I wouldn't install the Full version on a Pi Zero or Zero 2W. It contains a lot of extra packages that you probably won't use. Some of them can be very large and it is probably that which is causing the upgrade issue.

Generally I use the Lite version on a Zero. If I wanted a desktop I would install the Standard version. Any extra software that is included on the Full version can be installed if required.

There's no specific way to do that. You can edit your original post and add "[SOLVED]" to the title so people can see that the issue has been solved.
