I'm using a Raspberry Pi 5 with 8GB of RAM, so hardware limitations shouldn't be the issue here. I have tried executing Chromium from the terminal to monitor any error output, and I've also deleted the `.config/chromium` and `.cache/chromium` directories to ensure a fresh setup. Despite these steps, the issue persists.
Additionally, I've noticed that as long as an instance of Chromium remains running, launching new instances of Chromium does not seem to pose a problem. The issue specifically occurs when I use the 'Create shortcut? Open as window' feature for websites, suggesting it might be related to how Chromium handles these standalone web app processes.
I've also gone as far as reinstalling the entire OS to ensure there are no underlying configuration problems, but unfortunately, this has not resolved the issue either.
