Do yourself a favor and document it, especially as it is still changing. I had to deal with loads of undocumented code in my programming life, and it is always a pain. Imagine debugging a 20 year old assembler program for a chip where you have to look up the details on the assembler language and try to find a bug that is as old as the program itself - without comments.
Even my own code is a hard read for me after a few years and with a gazillion other projects in between if I had not added comments and documentation. Lack of comments and documentation is the No.2 thing to bite you, right after sloppy programming. That's one of the lessons I've learned in over 40 years of programming...
