My recollection is the 128K Mac didn't have enough memory and was replaced by the fat Mac with 512K in less than a year. At the time a friend purchased a Lisa saying better buy now while it is still available. My impression is the Lisa is somewhat collectable these days. And the best thing is, even it is slow through emulation, it can still be as good or better than the real thing from the time it existed.Amazing result given the limits both from the new hardware and the historic hardware.
I liked the idea of profiling to find the most commonly used 68000 instructions and then storing the emulation routines for those instructions in RAM to avoid delays resulting from execute in place.
