If you're only looking to use screen sharing and want it to work after a reboot, you'll need to enable desktop auto-login so it automatically brings up your desktop as your desired user.
Of course, this has other security implications if you're concerned about physical access to your device but it is currently a limitation with Raspberry Pi Connect that an active desktop session must be present when it starts for you to be able to share the screen.
