You should consider if you need a bridge or routing in this situation. Bridging is more error prone.
If you want to bridge, both connections should be working separately. You will have then to deal with the DHCP addressing, given that your wan router might not give you more than one IP.
Then you bridge both connections and see how it how it goes. You probably have to forward port using your firewall and disable blocking rules.

If you choose to go with routing, I suggest this fork of create_ap https://github.com/lakinduakash/linux-wifi-hotspotthat will also work for your need, even without wifi.
