As I've mentioned, I have several customized services running on this RPI with Buster.
It would be a lot of trouble to upgrade and then cause them break and then fix them.
Instead of doing that I would really prefer buying another RPI for just this purpose (UPS) or even getting another UPS.
on the other hand...
today , between my first post and this one , I tested Bullseye:
- First I cloned my SD card
- then I did a dist-upgrade using apt
most of the packages were upgraded , but kernel was still 5.10.103
So just to test; how can I upgrade the kernel ?
Also, if upgrading kernel works on Bullseye, maybe I can do it also for Buster , and it might work.
How can I upgrade the kernel on each of these OS releases ?
