Hi, Ive set up a Pi 5 as a home server/NAS. It’s runs several services including:
Apache
SMB
MariaDB
Plex Media Server
DHCP
VPN server
TP-Link Omada Controller
JRiver Media Center
After about a day or so of up time, virtual memory fills to 100% even though real memory is well below 100%. In addition to this, I’m having hard system crashes about every 2 or 3 days where the only way to recover is “Ctrl + Alt + PrntScrn, R E I S U B”. I suspect the 2 issues are related.
I increased virtual memory from the default 200mb to 2gb, but it still fills up to 100%.
I’m running Raspberry Pi OS Desktop Bookworm
Any ideas what might be causing this and how to trouble shoot?
Thanks
