General discussion • Reduce quality with 1 resolution?

Hey guys,

I have an external monitor that supports only 1 resolution, any other resolution will fail to display an output.
The problem is that the resolution is too resolution'y and the quality is too damn high causing potential performance loss.
Is there a way to decrease the quality of the render to increase performance without changing output resolution?
