I don't know about "more than my car" but I have a Rigol MSO8000 which can sample fairly quickly - better than the 2GHz spec in my experience. Problem is that I don't have a signal generator for the inputWould be interesting to see this, yes. So if any hobbyist on here has spent more on their scope than their car, perhaps you could share some shots...
