Dear community, mainly addressed to the Pico 2 board/module vendors:
Why all these Pico 2 cannot support 1V8 logic (on GPIOs)?
Probably because 1.8V logic levels were never designed for long inter-board connections - which many of these boards will be used for of course. I realise the Picos can be soldered down onto another PCB but I suspect they don't want the support issues such as "I'm using 1.8V logic on my plug-in breadboard and I keep getting errors/crashes/etc". Most people don't even put the 33Ohm resistors on their GPIO outputs (STM include them inside the MCU but not RPL for some reason) so I hate to think what the reflections on the lines are like with 1.8V logic.

Far more useful would be boards integrating a RP235x with a reasonably large FPGA, but still with 3.3V GPIOs.
