I recently purchased 5 PICO 2 to use them in various projects. Upon delivery, I immediately tried to test them by flashing a simple firmware that blinks the onboard led.
However, once I connected them to the Micro-USB cable (I triple checked the cable which is fully functional with some original and thrid party PICOs I had in my stash). the Pico 2 would immediately go into BOOTSEL mode (regadless of whether the BOOTSEL button is pressed or not.
The PICO 2 mass storage device is recognized by my Windows 11 machine and I am able to copy the UF2 file to it. However, after completing the transfer the PICO 2 would not reboot... it simply stays there. If I disconnect the micro-USB cable and connect it again -without pressin the BOOTSEL button- it gets recognized by Windows with no UF2 file in it. So I copy it again and nothing happens.
This is happening with all 5 PICO 2s I ordered... so wondering, am I missing something here? Are PICO 2 supposed to behave like this? If so, how am I supposed to flash the firmware, as they are always booting in BOOTSEL mode but not reboot nor their led would turn on indicating they are booting normally.
