I am running a RPI4B with Bookworm with the latest updates as of Oct 20, 2024.
I had been using X11 and VNC for remote desktop access which was working as expected. I decided to try the new RPI-connect to see how it compared.
I switched from X11 to Wayland using raspi-config. Disabling VNC and enabling RPI-connect.
After doing this I noticed that some of the Launcher icons on the taskbar had disappeared. I then disabled RPI-connect to remove that from the troubleshooting. The problem remained.
I am trying to add an app to the Launcher using ‘right click’ taskbar -> Add/Remove Panel Items but found that ‘Add/Remove Panel Items’ no longer exists.
If I right click Add/Remove Plugins. I can select Launcher and select 'configure' but that only allows icon spacing to be defined.
How do you customize the taskbar Launcher apps in the Wayland GUI configuration?
