Hi I have a Raspberry pi5 with a hat with SSD with bookworm installed on it. I have a problem it connects to wifi networks but as soon as I try to open an internet page or the update command it disconnects from wifi. some time ago using microsd instead of the ssd and I had a similar problem, solved by adding and changing configurations via terminal, I think with the nano command but I can't find the forum anymore and I don't remember what I changed. can someone help me?
We've now moved to Network manager; you don't normally go manually editing the config files on that; so the instructions that you had are most likely for the previous dhcpcd system of network control.

Sounds like an issue with your local connection.

Try moving the Pi close to the wifi transmitter.

Are you using a metal case?

Do you have any other wireless devices close by? Wireless KBD/Mouse, Baby alarm etc etc.

Are you using the onboard WiFi adaptor or is it an external one?

Have you set the WiFi country code correctly?
What channel are you using? 5/2.5?

what is the output from ifconfig?
