Raspberry Pi OS • Can't get autostart working using ~/.config/wayfire.ini

I've just created a fresh install of Bookworm on a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B.

I see now that because of Wayfire what I used to do to automatically launch a web browser using ~/.config/lxsession/LXDE-pi/autostart won't work anymore.

So I've tried to follow the instructions I've found about ~/wayfire.ini. The first problem I run into is that no such file exists. Since the file doesn't exist, I've tried creating it, with nothing but an [autostart] section, like this:

Code:

[autostart]clock = chromium-browser --kiosk --autoplay-policy=no-user-gesture-required http://localhost:8080/

For now I have to switch back to using X11 via raspi-config to get autostart working again. Is there something I'm missing about wayfire.ini? Is it a sign something is screwed up that the wayfire.ini file didn't exist in the first place?
