I have now concluded my testing of the light detection during sunset.
It looks like this:
So a 10 uF capacitor will cause a time constant of about 500 ms at roundabout dusk.
And that should be measurable with good enough accuracy in a GPIO read loop waiting for a high level I believe.
So can an RPiZero safely discharge a 10 uF capacitor through a GPIO output set to low level without using a series resistor?
It looks like this:
Code:
Time Resistance------------------13:45 5 K13:55 12 K14:00 18 K14:12 40 K14:23 46 K14:54 86 K15:05 114 K15:30 620 K
And that should be measurable with good enough accuracy in a GPIO read loop waiting for a high level I believe.
