Hi,
I am working on a project with Raspberry Pi 5 and exploring its PCIe capabilities. I have a few questions:
1 - If I connect an SSD via PCIe to the Raspberry Pi 5, is it possible to boot the operating system directly from the SSD? Are there any configurations needed?
2 - If the SSD is empty (no OS or image), can I use the bootloader (Boot) mode to write an operating system image to the SSD via USB?
3 - If I connect a PCIe multiplexer (ASM1182E) to the Raspberry Pi 5, can the system boot properly? Additionally, will I still be able to load programs or an OS via USB if necessary?
Thank you for your help!
