Hello Peterlite,
To switch from 2.4GHz to 5GHz, on the Samsungs, I just need to select the band in the menu. Nothing more.
Security is WPA/WPA2/WPA3 Personnal on the PIs and WPA2/WPA3-Personal on android. I tried any other matching combinations with no success either.
As soon as I switch to 5GHz on android, the signal is instantly lost.
And the distance between both the devices is only 1.5 metre, with no obstacle.
I really can't understand what prevents 5GHz from working here.
One more thing : this behaves the same if I try and activate the hotspot on the PI : I can detect it from any device as long as it is set to 2.4 GHz, but as soon as I set it to 5GHz the connection is lost and impossible to establish.
