Is Picotool able to communicate with it when in BOOTSEL mode? Use it to dump the flash?
I am looking at some erratas (Appendix B) of the rp2040 data sheet. Seems like it could be the -E14. Its basically about misaligned flash/uf2's.
Hitting E14 is unlikely unless you're doing something weird with linker scripts.
Going to check if the chip i have is one of the affected, RP2040B0-B2
AFAIK B2 is still the newest so B0 to B2 covers all the currently available RP2040 chips.
