Are you sure it's really a file? Not a directory, and not a link? m What is the output of "ls -l' for the file?
Ah thank you, I had been trying to remove a directory not a file, I’m a bit new to this :lol:.

On another note do you have any idea where the files go for the apps I deleted? I deleted some apps and emptied my bin but I suspect some junk files are still lying about.
