On February 28, 2024, Samsung anounced a microSD express card that is can hit sequential read speeds of up to 800 MB/s, which is 1.4 times faster than a SATA SSDs. So why purchase an NVMe HAT adapter and a NVMe card , when you can get a whopping four times faster microSD card than the current UHS-1 storage media that the RPi-5 supports. In view of this, I would not be suprised to see the Offical Raspberry Pi product pulled.
