Ah that makes sense, never used or physically seen the portable ones.
I've had a portable monitor for about 3 years now. (When I got it, they were fairly rare and generally expensive...there are scads of them on the market now and prices have dropped q long way.) It has a USB-C power connector, a mini-HDMI data input and a USB-C data input. One thing I was able to find was a micro-HDMI to mini-HDMI cable. That makes it work with a Pi4B/Pi400/Pi5 without any additional adapters.

From what I've seen, mini-HDMI seems to be pretty common on portable monitors.
