FYI, here is my table of pings. I actually did 5 sets of pings, but only 3 sets below are shown, since nothing new to be gained in terms of insight. Across the top row, you can see PC1 with the picow-server attached to it, PC2 wiht the pico-client attached to it, and a third wireless PC. All are connected to the same router and the router shows excellent signal strength.

So for the first entry, you can see I am using PC1 to ping the pico-w server and getting "unreachable", shown as X. PC2 cant it the server either, but PC3 can for some reason. And so on. There doesn't appear to be any consistency. Between the second and third series, I pulled both Picos off, left them depowered for 10 seconds and then re-inserted and restarted the server, then the client (after the server was up and waiting).

The "duh" inputs are just that: obvious that a PC should be able to ping itself.

So I need to find out why these devices can't see each other, at least not consistently. All PCs are Windows machines. PC3 has file sharing off while PC1 and PC2 have it on, but I don't think that matters. All show Network discovery ON ("You rPC can find and be found by other devices on the network").

Code:

Issue pings from PC1, PC2, and PC3 as shown below. So I will continue to study ARP and see if I can get smarter as to why I am seeing what I am seeing above. I suspect it is related to my root cause of my problem between the client and server and "seeing each other".
