I have a Raspberry Pi 5 8GB model that is having HDMI output issues.
what i have going on:
i have an ONN brand 64gb micro sd card loaded with the 64-bit official raspberry pi operating system flashed using the official raspberry pi imager
im NOT using an official 27w 5v 5a power supply
im using a 40w 5v 3a power supply (with power delivery)
and i am using an ONN brand hdmi to micro hdmi adapter
My issue:
when i have the micro sd card inserted it does not show ANY video output onto my tv AT ALL however when i remove the micro sd card and load into boot loader it shows video and works. ive tried booting from usb as well with the same problem ive also tried the usb_max_current_enable=1 trick in the config.txt text file as well with no change i entirely NO idea what to do? there is NOTHING on the internet to help me or regarding this issue if anyone can help or has any suggestions or ideas whatsoever i would appreciate it so very much.
