Not "Bookworm", of course. I assume that was a typo. All these "B"s get confusing after a while.

OP was, correctly, shooting for Bullseye - a stable release.

That's opinion.

Bookworm was correct for a fresh install. if officially supported (I don't think it is yet)
EDIT seems it is https://discourse.pi-hole.net/t/raspber ... 2/65480/27 they've just not updated the download page.
