Thanks, your reply solved my problem. After I added 3440x1440@100hz/60hz/50hz to the whitelist, it no longer automatically switches to 3840x2160. But I think it's a bit strange. According to the description of Whitelist and the example given in the Kodi wiki, if Whitelist is not set, the Kodi resolution is set to 3440x1440@100hz and the video is 3840x2160@24hz. The screen resolution when playing this video should match the resolution (and refresh rate) currently set by kodi (i.e. 3440x1440@100hz), rather than the automatic setting of 3840x2160. On the other hand, this happens only with HDR videos, but not with SDR videos.Kodi has a whitelist feature where you can choose only the hdmi modes it should use.
