There seems to be a disconnection timeout in the terminal session.
When I connect from a web browser, I get randomly disconnected, even if the Pi is busy on a long operation. I can only assume it is detecting no activity from me and closing the session, although it does seem to do it quite a lot.
Does it disconnect after a period of inactivity? If so, can this be disabled or the timeout changed (or maybe it isn't counting properly?).
You will need one of the RPi developers behind RPi-Connect to give a definite answer, but as another user I can say this has not been my experience.
There has been no mention that I can recall or find in the forums about there being such a timeout or being able to configure it.
What sort of timescale is involved to trigger this disconnection? Minutes? Hours?
From a browser remote-shell-session:
