Troubleshooting • Re: Two RPi 5 dead

Thanks again. I have checked with oscilloscope and the core voltage (assuming it is the rail generated with four "big" inductors) just sits on 803mV.

I have, however, found communication on TP35. When power is applied there is some data sent here. This could very well be an SDA node. Then I would assume that TP36 next to it is SCL, but it just sits at 3.3V. But with SCL stuck in high state there would not be more than 8 bits sent on SDA, until the host listens for a low-level ACK.

Not easy to do more without a schematics or other info. But nothing I have measured so far indicates that it is "dead" in the sense of an over-voltage situation with damaged chips.
