All the stuff I ordered is finally here, so I can continue my project.
See https://datasheets.raspberrypi.com/rp1/ ... herals.pdf section 3.1.1 for the mappings on Pi5.
I saw something interesting when reading that. I see two entries, UART0_IR_TX and UART0_IR_RX. Does that mean it supports IrDA?

Also, what is the actual pinout of that 3-pin UART port? I went to wire it up, and I wasn't sure which is RX and which is TX. I know the ground is the middle pin, at least. But I'm unsure if the Pi5 is the "target" or if the level shifter is. And I really don't want to accidentally connect it up backwards.
