Glad to hear that they work well for you. Review says they are kind of 10 to 30 times faster than SD cardI've been using the following for more than six months without a single hiccup:
Geekworm X1001 PCIe Peripheral Board
Kingston NV2 500G M.2 2280 NVMe Internal SSD
Using PCIe 3.0, yielding both speed and reliability.
Well, as I stated on original post, I was only googling over internet. It is hard to see real statistics as successful users might stay silent and non successful one wrote about it. Even in this forum, among other web reading, has long post on difficulity to get them to work. Some extreme case said they have tried multiple hat(s) and NVMe(s) couting toward half dozen.
Code:
root@raspberrypi:~# hdparm -t /dev/mmcblk0/dev/mmcblk0: Timing buffered disk reads: 88 MB in 3.48 seconds = 25.27 MB/secroot@raspberrypi:~# hdparm -t /dev/nvme0n1/dev/nvme0n1: Timing buffered disk reads: 2328 MB in 3.00 seconds = 775.68 MB/sec
I put two of this configuration together and they simply worked from power-on.
