- I have not yet decided. Was thinking about C/C++, since I rarely get to use them and wanted to give it a try. Any suggestions are welcome! You didn’t specify which programming language you are using.
- I am a total beginner when it comes to microcontrollers, no idea what to look for but one of the comments said the sensor element is Pt1000Couldn’t see any documentation about the output from that temperature sensor!
Thank you!Looks as if there is a PT1000 build into this sensor.
Look for a board like this to connect the sensor: https://www.adafruit.com/product/3648
You could also build a voltage divider with a 2k to 10k resistor and use pico ADC to measure voltage on junction and calculate pt1000 resistance. And from this calculate the temperature. But this approach is less accurate than using a dedicated board.
