I grabbed the download at 10:48 UK time today, installed and rebooted before I tried the button checks. The first check was on the previous pull. Thanks,
That confirms the shutdown and reboot signals are being correctly received an processed. The shutdown command to the case has changed and there really isn't a reliable way to log events so late in the shutdown all storage is remounted read only at that point.
It is a bit annoying that the case didn't cut power when shutdown was ordered. It should also power off if you shutdown with out the button. We don't want to send the shutdown command when we aren't powering down or have remounted all media to read only, You don't want to corrupt the NVME or SD card depending on what you are using. Did you run the install after the latest update? This check should work to confirm it was correctly updated. The two checksums you get should match they also shouldn't match mine.Code:
/tmp/argononed $ shasum /lib/systemd/system-shutdown/argonone-shutdown b4e49217dbe8d79c24ccdf824ff8d6a0e3b84706 /lib/systemd/system-shutdown/argonone-shutdown/tmp/argononed $ shasum build/argonone-shutdown b4e49217dbe8d79c24ccdf824ff8d6a0e3b84706 build/argonone-shutdown
How are you shutting down?
Interestingly I see the default for shutdown is to poweroff, but that isn't happening with a manual shutdown - or else it isn't removing the red light from the case. M1ind you switching off the official case isn't either I have to remove the USB-C connector. Weird.
